Man, where to began! This place has been a staple in the Seal Beach community for years and they never disappoint! I've been coming here since I moved down here 7 years ago and still have not found a breakfast burrito that rivals Nick's. They load every single one with a ton of egg, potatoes and cheese along side whatever protien your craving. This morning I went with their traditional Breakfast Burrito that was stuffed with eggs, potatoes, cheese, bacon and chorizo. As always the flavors treated my taste buds to a culinary adventure with the medium salsa adding a nice cherry on top.
Can't wait to go back!
Keep up the great work Guys! -

This review is only about the vegetarian breakfast burrito. Which was pretty disappointing, especially after all the positive reviews on here. The potatoes (too big and too many) were underseasoned. The salsa was like tomato sauce with some chili mixed in. And I didn't find any cheese until I was about 1/3 of the way through.
Another strange thing is that they take your order at the counter, but don't have you pay until you pick up the food. Which seems weird because it delays you getting your food right when it's ready.
The staff were friendly and efficient (except for the payment thing) and the place is cash only. -

If you're walking down Main Street, all sandy from the beach, and wondering which food joint it's acceptable to have sandy apparel in, this is the one. Nick's struck me as the place that surfers come to after surfing, college kids can afford, and families can enter without their kids being deemed "too loud." This place offers burritos and sandwiches in a very casual atmosphere.
As others have mentioned, it is still cash only. You order at the counter and then when your number is called for your food, you go up to the counter, pay, and then get your food. I'm not sure why you don't pay when you order, so I was a bit confused, but it worked out fine.
We settled on a breakfast burrito (for lunch, yes!) for about $7. It was so big and an amazing deal! Filled with chorizo, scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, and cheese that were thoroughly mixed together and stuffed into a soft flour tortilla, that burrito quickly satisfied my hunger. -

A solid 4.5 stars for this good ol' beachtown fave.

ATMOSPHERE
It's old and run down, and I love every bit of it. There's something really nostalgic about it. The old deli fridge in the front, the old school cash register, the view of the kitchen when you're ordering... I love it all. There's plenty of seating.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Aside from sit-down restaurants, there are no more places around town where you pay AFTER you receive your food. Actually, I picked up my food, and the guy goes, "Pay whenever. Now or after you eat, it doesn't matter." I dig it.
They're super accommodating and are willing to answer any questions you may have about the menu items.
FOOD
I've gotten their BREAKFAST BURRITO before and it's amazing, but this time around I ordered the CHICKEN SALAD SANDWICH.
I loved it. It's made with white meat chicken, which I happen to appreciate. Mixed in is mayo, egg, a little bit of celery, and salt and pepper. Classic, basic, but really tasty. I got it on toasted wheat bread with lettuce and tomatoes on the sandwich and the pickles on the side. I ate the pickles sorta like chips. Yummy!
I would definitely order this sandwich again. They give you a generous serving of chicken salad, so I was only able to eat half of the sandwich. I saved the rest of it and ate it for lunch.

We come here occasionally to get the healthy vegetarian burrito! It's delish, healthy and addicting. I always tell myself to only way half but never do!
